Facing Health Challenges

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever: Its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness; but still will keep a bower quiet for us, and a sleep full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing...  John Keats

Because of some health challenges I'm facing I have had to cancel several teaching engagements and shows I had scheduled.  First off the wonderful retreat I was looking forward to so much next month in Klamath Falls, OR. "Gathering Grace", then not being able to participate in the annual Weavers' Guild of St. Louis show I've been part of for the last 13 years, and now I'm canceling November dates.  The issues I'm going through will be fixed but have weeks of recovery time and I need to focus on that.

I hate having to tell students they have to change plans, heck I hate having to change my plans and truth be told none of us would choose having surgical procedures over doing what we love right?!!

Anyway,  all should be fine and I will be back to normal, or a new better normal soon!  I'm still planning to teach in Tucson next Feb. for ViviMagoo at Art Retreat in the Desert and hope you can check out what I'm teaching and then sign up and come for a fabulous time of creating, shopping the bead show(s), and camaraderie!  I know I will be ready!

So sorry you're going thru this, but great to heat it's all going to be better. That's what's important. Your students will just have more anticipation excitement ahead of them

The important thing is to concentrate on YOU. Get well soon and hopefully will see you next year at the weaver's guild sale.

So sorry to hear you are dealing with health issues but glad that you are on the road to recovery. Even happier to hear that you are still planning on coming to Tucson in February! Sounds like you are taking care of yourself and that is a good thing!

Ill bet that a great percentage of folks signed up for your classes could say...been there, done that. If not, they eventually will. Glad to hear that you will be back to the New Normal...which changes all along the way...sooooon :) Best...and almost normal ;) Laura
