Grateful Things

January 2, I was grateful to get to help my friend buy a new sewing machine. I hope she'll be happy with.

Today, January 3, I'm grateful no one in my family has cancer. I have too many friends falling victim to this disease and hear everyday of new friends and acquaintances finding they have some form of cancer. It's an insidious disease that calls for horrendous treatments that are not guaranteed to work. I wish peace to all those people.

two very good things to be grateful for. Health is precious and good health is a blessing. And, when Catherine helped me get my sewing machine, it was a wonderful day for both of us.
